About TEEN’N’GREEN
What is "Teen’n’green" ?
So, right here in our school we decided to do something for the planet… It’s also something for us, so we’re able to live on this planet.
With teachers of every subject, members of the staff and tenth grade pupils, we started many ecological initiatives, although our main project is a month dedicated to the planet.
We decided to call it… Teen’n’green!(« Jeûne écolo » in French)
During this month, every pupil agrees to follow some rules written on a chart which we created together.
For instance, one can decide to :
- Change one’s habits about food : eat organic food, without paying more. Thanks to the cook who gave us many recipes for us and our parents !
- Decrease the temperature of the heater
- Use one’s car a little bit less
- Don’t buy anything new anymore
- Use one’s phone less
- And many other things, you can find the chart a litttle further down...
Every action has been given thought and a teacher of a different subject. For each action, we calculate the impact on the planet if everyone was doing like us.
Also, many other initiatives are set up.
At the end, a questionnaire will be given to the families to evaluate every consequence : savings, more talk...
But of course, if we’re doing all that we don’t want do be the only ones to do it.
We'd like as many high schools and schools to help with this project and create a giant chain all over the world
An ecological march month
Anyone can doit their own way depending on his environment, his habits and what he thinks are the greatest emergencies
So now it's up to you to share the message

How to participate in Teen’n’green ?
We realised ecology must be considered, so we wondered how WE could have an impact on human pollution so as to reduce it. We and every tenth grade classin the Bagatelle high school, we established a chart of jeune ecolo where everyone may choose which actions they want or don’t want to take. The, they will have to hold onto that action for an entire month : the month of march : THE MONTH OF TEEN‘N’GREEN !
Each action received some thought and attention from one of the teachers who tried to measure th impact of its application in France or in the world. Many themes were proposed :
- transport
- food and alimentation
- energy and water
- electronics
- new things and items bought
So, you will find here a chart with many themes and solutions.
